ABSTRACT This analysis considers the issue of algorithmic and artificial intelligence (AI) transparency. Starting from the concept of the transparency of AI systems now included in the new EU Regulation, it considers the Spanish legal system. The work deals with the issues of transparency and access to source code, with an analysis of the existing Spanish BOSCO rulings, participation, the explainability and motivation of administrative decisions and, finally, transparency and the algorithmic registers that some municipalities are developing. It finishes with some concluding remarks.
